<lj:music>Matchbook Romance - Playing For Keeps</lj:music>

So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool....

Opening Credits: Placebo - "Protect me From What I Want"
apparently it's going to be a pretty depressing movie

Waking Up: Metallica - "One"
what is this, some sort of post-apocolyptic distopian film?

First Day At School: Blink 182 - "Carousel"
I guess it's getting a little more upbeat...probably the calm before the storm.

Falling In Love: Our Lady Peace - "The Wonderful Future"
this doesn't even make a lick of sense.

Fight Song: Eminem - "Just Lose It"
man, I'm gonna get my ass kicked in this fight...I can just see myself trying to fight, and then getting picked up and twirled around a la "Fresh Prince of Bel Air"

Breaking Up: Smashing Pumpkins - "My Mistake"
actually, pretty decent breakup song

Prom: Eazy-E - "Real Motherfucking G's"
umm...well, it's a real cocky song, so I guess it works.

Life: Finch - "Letters to You"
yeah, this is pretty good.

Mental Breakdown - Blink 182 - "Damnit"
I guess this works.

Driving: DMB - "Typical Situation"
This actually isn't too bad. it's like a calm driving song...driving through the mountains or something.

Flashback: Jack's Mannequin - "Rescued"
Good call

Wedding: Stillwater - "Feverdog"
this is more the getting ready for the wedding

Birth of Child: Straylight Run - "A Slow Descent"
ehhh

Final Battle: Madonna - "Four Minutes"
it's actually got a "final battle" beat to it...does that make any sense?

Death Scene: Coldplay - "The Scientist"
hmmm...like something I wish I could start over again...

Funeral Song: Journey - "I'll be Alright Without You"
now that isn't even funny.

End Credit: Matchbook Romance - "Playing For Keeps"

Let's call it a concept album.

    <lj:music>Alanis Morissette, for nostalgia</lj:music>

As most of my friends know, I like to drink. A lot. I love getting drunk, which typically tends to cause me to black out...usually not doing anything that dumb (but there have been a time or two). I think that this journal will primarily be a chronicle of my drunken escapades, either from my memory, or from what I heard from my friends the next morning.

This is not going to be anything like "Tucker Max" or anything like that - I am not trying to gain popularity or notoriety through what has happened in my life - I just want a record of all the things I've done. Throughout this journal, we may see some trends in my life emerging, but we'll just have to wait and see.

And no, I do not yet consider myself an alcoholic.
